Charged particles on moon!

Image
Chandrayaan2 orbiter detected charged particles and it's intensity variations during it's first passage through the *geotail. Geotail- Geotail is a satellite observing the Earth's magnetosphere. It was developed by Japan's ISAS in association with the United States' NASA, and was launched by a Delta II rocket on July 24, 1992. Geotail  provides information about the way the magnetic envelope surrounding Earth, called the magnetosphere, responds to incoming material and energy from the Sun.   image source:Isro (Chandrayaan-2 is India's second lunar exploration mission after Chandrayaan-1. Your chance Vikram !! Pragyan is waiting..

Today @13:15 IST Vikam Lander successfully seperated from chandrayaan2 orbiter.Pragyan rover is also attached with Vikram.probably,on7 sep 2019,vikram lander will land on untouched south pole of moon.We want vikaram and pragyan stay touched till successfull landing. We all want to  know the mystery of moon south pole.   Great job orbiter! Now your chance vikram. Pragyan is waiting for its chance. Congrats team ISRO!. image source:ISRO

"Look @ the moon"-Says Chandrayaan2

Take a look at the first Moon image captured by #Chandrayaan2 #VikramLander taken at a height of about 2650 km from Lunar surface on August 21, 2019. Mare Orientale basin and Apollo craters are identified in the picture. #ISRO image source:ISRO (Chandrayaan-2 is India's second lunar exploration mission after Chandrayaan-1. The ISS

The  International Space Station  ( ISS ) is a  space station  (habitable  artificial satellite ) in  low Earth orbit . The  ISS programme  is a joint project between five participating space agencies:  NASA  ( United States ),  Roscosmos  ( Russia ),  JAXA  ( Japan ),  ESA ( Europe ), and  CSA  ( Canada ). The ownership and use of the space station is established by intergovernmental treaties and agreements The ISS serves as a  microgravity  and  space environment  research laboratory in which crew members conduct experiments in  biology ,  human biology ,  physics ,  astronomy ,  meteorology , and  other fields . The station is suited for the testing of spacecraft systems and equipment required for missions to the Moon and Mars. The ISS  maintains an orbit  with an average altitude of 400 kilometres (250 mi) by means of reboost manoeuvres using the engines of the  Zvezda  module or visiting spacecraft. It circles the Earth in roughly 92 minutes and completes 15.5 orbits per day.

Chandrayaan 2 leaves earth's orbit

Chandrayaan 2 has left earth's orbit on 14 August(A day before indian independence day) 2019.It will enter in moon's orbit on 20 Aug 2019. Congrats to ISRO. Know about moon

Earth's  Moon  is an  astronomical body  that  orbits  the planet and acts as its only  permanent   natural satellite . It is  the fifth-largest  satellite in the  Solar System , and the largest among planetary satellites relative to the size of the  planet  that it orbits (its  primary ). The Moon is, after  Jupiter 's satellite  Io , the second- densest  satellite in the Solar System among those whose densities are known.
