The Cygnus cargo craft from @NorthropGrumman lifted off on time nov 2 at 9:59am ET from @NASA_Wallops in Virginia to resupply the Exp 61 crew with over four tons of science, supplies and hardware early Monday. Antares, known during early development as Taurus II, is an expendable launch system developed by Orbital Sciences Corporation and the Yuzhnoye Design Bureau to launch the Cygnus spacecraft to the International Space Station as part of NASA's COTS and CRS programs. Mission NASAICON is sheduled to be air-launched at 9:30pm ET on 9 Oct by PEGASUS XL rocket to study the region where our weather from below meets space weather above . The mission, delayed from 2017, aims to understand how solar wind and other space weather phenomena interact with the  ionosphere , a layer of Earth's upper atmosphere that begins 62 miles (100 kilometers) up. image source:NASA

Administrator JimBridenstine announced NASA_Marshall will lead our Human Landing System Program that will put the first woman and next man on the Moon in five years as a part of our #Artemis program.

If our eyes could see high-energy radiation called gamma rays, the Moon would appear brighter than the Sun!  NASA's Fermy telescope reminds astronauts to withstand with gamma radiation on the lunar surface. Gamma-ray observations are not sensitive enough to clearly see the shape of the Moon’s disk or any surface features. Instead, Fermi’s Large Area Telescope (LAT) detects a prominent glow centered on the Moon’s position in the sky. #Artemis #NASA

Our  Solar System  consists of an average sta r we call the   Sun, There are eight planets in the solar system: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. The four inner solar system planets ( Mercury ,  Venus ,  Earth , and  Mars ) fall under the category of  terrestrial planets ;  Jupiter  and  Saturn  are  gas giants (giant plants composed mostly of hydrogen and helium) while  Uranus and Neptune  are the  ice giants  (containing mainly elements heavier than hydrogen and helium)... Space technology is technology developed by space science or the aerospace industry for use in spaceflight, satellites, or space exploration. Wikipedia Space is such a novel environment that attempting to work in it requires new tools and techniques. New technologies originating with or accelerated by space-related endeavors are often subsequently exploited in other economic activities. "Asteroid named 1998 OR2 may collide with earth next year-"-says NASA Currently it is on a trajectory to just fly past our planet. NASA's Center for Near Earth Object Studies (CNEOS) has revealed that the  1998 OR2  asteroid has an estimated diameter of 13,500 feet and is expected to fly past the Earth on April 29, 2020, at 5:56am EDT (3:26pm IST). On its nearest point, the asteroid will be at a distance of approximately 0.04205 astronomical units or around 3.9 million miles from our planet's centre. Sounds safe, right? Well, the asteroid's course can be altered due to a couple of phenomena and it might eventually crash into Earth. Is earth in danger?? Are you worried or not??

Scientists are trying to know all about the black hole.and now they became successful in capturing first ever image of black hole A black hole is a region of spacetime exhibiting gravitational acceleration so strong that nothing—no particles or even electromagnetic radiation such as light—can escape from it. The theory of general relativity predicts that a sufficiently compact mass can deform spacetime to form a black hole.
